Waldo County has 4,944 Central Maine Power customers without power as of Sunday, Dec. 6, morning. Most outages are currently in the western part of the county. The rain storm turned into snow overnight along the coast blanketing yards in white.

The storm is expected to taper off Sunday afternoon after dumping an expected total of 1 to 1.5 inches of rain. Western Maine will see the highest snow totals, with little snow accumulation expected along the coast.

Wind gusts as high as 50 miles per hour will build seas to 4 to 8 feet along the Maine coast.
