Hello All,

Here we are again, folks. It is raining hard as I type this, I guess ahead of the snowfall prediction. I like the rain, so much easier than to shovel snow. Bet you all do as well. It is winter to me, so it is what it is, from now till spring. I spoke too soon; changing to snow now.

Get well

A get well to Lisa Dunn, and to Puncin St. Clair. Hope you are better very soon. Lisa should be home now.

Our condolences to the family of Ronald Cropley who has passed away. I will always remember him from our Unity American Legion Post, and with his wife Janet, from Troy.

Little Miss Reagan had her second tumor removal, and is home at this time. We are praying for her, as she will have chemo again, and is only 2 months old. Bless the little one.

Happy 54th anniversary to Anita and Alvin Pease! May you have many more.

In town, our friends, happy anniversary to Garret and Ann Hubbard!

At Belfast

Geneva Peavey is now residing at Harbor Hill. She enjoys seeing the birds outside at the feeders. That is always a pleasure. Contact Carrie to get her phone number and address. Happy to here she fits right in. It is a nice place; my Mom was there in the past.

Waldo County 4-H

Congrats to two outstanding 4-H members, senior Emily Clark and junior Lily Parsons. They got Achievements Awards in STEM. I looked it up as I didn't know what this meant. STEM is an acronym for the fields of science, technology, engineering and math, I found. Both have been riding horses since very young. Holly Ingraham is the leader. She also has the 4-H youth group, Born to Ride kids’ group. I think this is great.

Santa Breakfast

On Sunday, Dec. 20, 9 a.m. till 200 meals are served out at the Waldo County Shrine Club with the Belfast Lions Club members. Santa and the elves will be serving you breakfast at your car, $5 per person. Kids, bring your letter and deliver it directly to Santa. Egg, sausage bacon, home fries. I saw. Sounds like fun for the kiddoes.

Farmers to Families boxes

Next date is Dec. 18, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Mount View Complex and at athenahealth in Belfast.

No MVHS Craft Fair today, as this virus has canceled most everything. Maybe someday we'll know who is our president for 2021.

Until next time,

Don't worry about being perfect. Make memories! Stay warm and be safe out there. Have a great week.
