Hello All,

News is late, internet acting up, and this laptop locked me out. The holidays are soon upon us. We do have snow now, but most likely the rain will be coming to take it away as usual. It seems this way the past winters. The youngsters want to slide, ride the snowmobiles and have fun. Happy winter, everyone!

About town

It is quiet, that is it. Dogs need to be licensed by the end of the month. Taxes paid. Coronavirus is keeping many at home. At least I have seen many pretty Christmas lights. Something to look forward to.

Birthdays coming up

The Doughty kids would love to get some mail. The triplets are going to be 4 — Chase, Isaac and Miss Morgan — on Dec. 28. Sister Ashlynn is going to be 10 on Dec. 26. If you'd like mail cards to them at 276 Old County Road, Knox, ME 04986. Info from Mom Amber Doughty. Thank you!

A big happy birthday to Laura Doughty Dec. 19! May you have many more. And I thank you for putting up with me as your mother-in-law. Always fun times at your house.

Belated birthday

Miss Mallory Proulx turned 6 on Dec. 5. Happy birthday to her.

Sympathy

Our most sincere sympathy to the family of Mary Walker Jackson who passed away on Dec. 5. She was a cousin to our mom, and a lovely lady that I will always remember. It is so nice for me to have known all the Walker relatives, too, growing up. I miss the family reunions.

I want to send our condolences to the family of Sharon Richardson who has passed away also. She lived out of state. She lived in Liberty for a long time when I met her.

Until next time,

Enjoy the good days we've had after we got dug out from the snow here. It was heavy, wet snow as it rained as well. Some lost power, and thankfully we didn't on this road. A miracle was born. Stay safe and be warm. Send some news my way.
