Clayton Owen Wadsworth, 91, passed away Dec. 11, 2020. He was born June 5, 1929, in Union, the son of Lottie and Harold Wadsworth.

Clayton was called to the field of ministry shortly before serving as a medic in the Army during the Korean Conflict. During his time in Korea, he ministered to many Korean people. He pastored the Full Gospel Deliverance Church on Cape Jellison (Stockton Springs) for 34 years. For 55 years, he was a florist for many residences of Bucksport and surrounding communities.

Clayton is survived by his two loving daughters, Joy Russell and husband Will and Gale Wadsworth; a grandson, Parker Russell, and wife Dawn; two great-grandsons, Ryan Russell and Hayden Russell; siblings Malcolm Wadsworth, Beulah Colby and husband Norman, and Dennis Wadsworth; along with many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Martha, a sister, Viva, and brother Arlo and sister-in-law Orlene Wadsworth.

There was never a day that Clayton was not preaching the goodness of God. Even in his dying days, he was still making sure people knew the plan of salvation.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are with Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Bucksport.
