We have had a few visitors recently. Alan, Lisa, Chris, along with Mia, stopped by at different times for music, beverages and conversation.

Condolences are also being sent to the family and friends of Melissa Thayer. Gone too soon, but will never be forgotten.

The Waldo County YMCA is collaborating with area businesses to support the Regional School Unit 3 school food pantries. Non-perishable food and monetary donations made made payable to the Mount View food pantry are being accepted at Down East Federal Credit Union, 58 School St., Unity and at the Waldo County YMCA, 157 Lincolnville Ave., Belfast, 338-4598.

The dates of the food drive are Jan. 18-23. They will collect nonperishable food with the YMCA bus in the Belfast Hannaford parking lot on Saturday, Jan. 23, 1-3 p.m. Donations may be dropped off at the YMCA during the week or by appointment at Mount View in Thorndike, 568-3255. Delivery will be the week of Jan. 25 to the schools. Please help if you can. Together we can make a difference.
