Community spay-neuter clinic

For low-income families that use public assistance and are using the Waterville location, to spay or neuter cats at the Waterville location. This location is open twice a month. $35 per female cat and $25 per male cat. For more info call 721-8395; leave voicemail if they are on another line, so they can return your call.

They are out of Topsham; the executive director and veterinarian is Elizabeth Stone. Vet's interest was to help reduce overpopulation of cats and protect wildlife from unowned cats. My niece Melissa Hewins works there. Be patient; they are busy.

Here's to you

Happy birthday if you are observing another year this month. A speedy get well if you have been ill. We are all trying to avoid the coronavirus, and flu.

Until next time,

Stay warm and be safe. Be sure to check the ice if going out ice fishing. I hear reports of not very thick at all yet.
