A little bit of light….

Folks 70 and older are now eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine and can register for an appointment at 877-780-7545, which is the phone number Maine CDC is publishing to reach the MaineHealth network.

At this point, demand highly exceeds supply, so be patient! It may seem slow going now but the logistics are currently being worked on, and will hopefully pick up in the coming weeks.

For more information, visit mainehealth.org/Coronavirus-COVID-19/Vaccine.

Liberty Library

Resident memberships will expire Jan. 31, and with the expiration, members lose the ability to borrow or request materials. This includes the use of the Download Library/CloudLibrary. Also, due dates will be shortened to end Jan. 31.

Residents who joined the library after January 2020, you do not need to renew until their one-year expiration date. Nonresidents do not need to do anything at this time, as they are handled differently.

To renew a membership, visit tinyurl.com/y2mby9g7.

Members can also write the required information on a sheet of paper and deliver it to the library during open hours (Monday, 4-7 p., and Thursday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.), or put it in a sealed envelope and place it in the drop box.

Finally, people can call 589-3161 when the library is open to renew by phone, or email brehmeyer@liberty.lib.me.us/.

That's about it this week.
