Central Maine Power has reported no outages as of 9 a.m. Tuesday morning during a storm predicted to dump up to 8 inches of snow on Midcoast counties. Winds will be strong at times along the coast, with gusts up to 45 mph possible, which may result in isolated power outages. The wind will also aid in an additional chill with temperatures in the upper 20s to low 30s feeling more like the teens and low 20s.

A winter storm warning is in effect until until 7 p.m. Tuesday night.

Closings and cancellations:

Islesboro Town Office, Library, Health Center and Public Safety Office are closed Tuesday, Feb. 2, because of the storm.
