Hearty congratulations to the 22 seniors who graduated June 10 from Searsport District High School. This group of students contended with extraordinary circumstances during their last two years of high school, yet still did well.
Four seniors graduated summa cum laude (with highest honor), having achieved cumulative averages of 3.75 to 4.0. They are Makenzie Alley, Emelia Law, Emma Spiegel and Isaias Therio.
Samantha Perkins graduated magna cum laude (with great honor), with an average of 3.5 to 3.74, and four of her classmates achieved averages between 3.25 and 3.49 to graduate cum laude (with honor): Natalie Chatto, Sarah Gent, Gabriel Kneeland and Isaac Turner.
Makenzie, Emelia, Samantha, Emma and Isaias all were members of the National Honor Society.
Well done, graduates!
