Celebrate Christmas in July

The Palermo Community Library will hold its annual meeting Sunday, July 11, at 2 p.m. The trustees will formally receive and hang a quilt donated by Joan Robertson. The quilt showcases Christmas-themed crayon drawings done last November by students from the Palermo Consolidated School and several local homeschool students. The drawings were pressed into the fabric to transfer the pigments, then sewn together by Joan Robertson. The piece was finished off with machine quilting by Diane Dixon.

The trustees will also unveil the library’s new Prusa 3-D printer! Come see what our trustees have been creating with it and learn how this technology can work for you.

This is a public meeting and all are invited. Light refreshments will be served. The library is located at 2789 Route 3. For more information, call 993-6088 or email (use new email) palermomelibrary@gmail.com or visit palermo.lib.me.us.
