Hello All,

Another week gone, yep gone! We have had humidity, rain, sun and more humidity. Hoping soon more sunshine.  Now it’s raining. They are still working on our road, doing the shoulders, I guess, with spreading dirt. Who knows. Hopefully they’ll get it finished and tarred soon.

New home

Congrats to Cody and Cassidy Doughty who have purchased a new home in Jay. This is nearby where he works in Rumford at the mill. Happy times for them.

New Beat Farm

Yummy organic tomatoes, all colors and red tomatoes, plus cauliflower, and red potatoes ready for the Belfast Farmers Market. They are in Belfast weekly. They have many pretty flowers growing to purchase a bouquet. Their little girl Robin is just the cutest, as she was sitting in the potato row helping dig potatoes. I found her pic on the Facebook site. They are my neighbors on the end of this road.

Homemade ice cream

Oh yummy goodness at John’s Ice Cream on Route 3 in Liberty. Many flavors to choose from. Time for another sweet treat trip.

Birds & wildlife

I love to feed the birds and my sister Babe makes sure to keep my feeders full. A red cardinal flew into the window while getting to the window feeder. He seemed to be OK as he sat and ate. We love to ride around when we can and look for deer. Love to see them out eating the green grass. Have been watching some on the lawn of Unity College also. We bought some cukes in our travels.

Happy 2nd birthday to Kaylie Rene Doughty!! Happy 7th birthday to Winter Scott!!

My garden plant pots

I have some pickling cukes getting ready. Yum. Tomatoes are growing too. Could have used a couple more plant pots but my son cleaned out the shed, and gone — ha ha.

Liberty trip

Get some fresh veggies. I have had no luck with getting raspberries. Wild blueberries are ready. Stopped by and saw Carrie Peavey Ballard’s farm stand. It is very nice and has lots of goodies. She even has meats available, homemade pies and much more. Nice set-up there. Check it out on Marshall Shores Road. Look for sign going down the hill on the left.

Until next time,

Be safe and be happy most of all. People are struggling, and you’re not alone. Take care, all. Thinking of those that are sick, and hoping for fast recovery.
