Pen Bay Medical Center and Waldo County General Hospital have adjusted their lab services schedules to better meet the needs of patients during the late summer season.
Beginning Wednesday, Aug. 11, PBMC will temporarily close its lab in the new Health Center and bring all its lab technicians together in the lab in the main hospital building. The hospital lab is open 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday thought Friday, 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays and closed on Sundays.

At WCGH, the lab will now be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday. For more information about lab services at WCGH, please visit mainehealth.org/Waldo-County-General-Hospital/Services/Outpatient-Lab-Services.
The changes are temporary and both hospitals expect to resume their regular hours of operation as soon as possible.
