FRANKFORT — Lynda G. (Cole) Parker, 76, passed away peacefully at home Aug. 20, 2021, with her family by her bedside. She was born Feb. 11, 1945, the daughter of the late Charles O. and Nelda (Glidden) Cole, of Winterport.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Stewart Parker.

Lynda is survived by her children, Stewart Jr. and wife Catherine Parker of Prospect, Laurie and husband Mark Knight of Frankfort, and Steve and wife Tracy Parker of Winterport; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; as well as her siblings.

Lynda spent most of her career as a wife and mom, which she considered to be the best job ever. Her family was the most important thing in her life. She also worked as a food service “lunch lady” for many years at Frankfort Elementary School.

Relatives and friends are welcome to call 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 24, at Hampden-Gilpatrick Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 45 Western Ave., Hampden. A graveside service will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery, Winterport, immediately following.
