Short collects women’s first in Country View play

BROOKS — The following is news from Country View Golf Club:

On Wednesday, Aug. 25, the two-person scramble teed off with 16 teams, as the pin winners were: Norm Richbell, on the fourth hole; and Daryl Raven, on the ninth hole.

On Thursday, Aug. 26, in the women’s points event, Donna Short finished first; and Joette Fields, second. Pin: Carol Counter, on the ninth hole.
