On the weekend of Oct. 2 and 3 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (you can come early if you want), Cindy McGray Ludden will be selling her Christmas decorations that she has made; also, the Jackson Food Pantry gals are going to be there with the cargo truck, full of Items to purchases to benefit the Jackson Food Pantry. It’s at 969 Moosehead Trail (Route 7) in Jackson. You can’t miss the sign.

They also will be having a raffle for $200 worth of Walmart gift cards. Cost is $5 for 20 tickets. Each month there will be a winner. If you go on the Jackson Food Pantry site, you can pay with PayPal and check on family and friends, please. If you want a private showing for the items they have in the box truck, please call Cindy at 322-9469. Appointments are available to go shopping at 538 Village Road in Jackson and you can call to make an appointment.

I will be posting more weekend information for both Cindy and the pantry next month.

On Sept. 7 I had a little birthday party for Mom, Raelene, Kyra, Justin and I. We had spaghetti and homemade meatballs. Paul came with flowers and a card, Randall called because he couldn’t make it, Mom’s brother Raymond from Georgia called her, and Reggie and Cheryl came up for a little while. She had such a great day!

Has anyone gone to the Community Market at 117 Weymouth Road (the old Flacke farmhouse)? They have all kinds of veggies and different items for sale. I’m going to try and make it to the next one. They have signs up the Friday they will be having them. Right now I have seen it be every other Friday, If that is what is happening, the next one will be on Sept. 17. Keep your eyes open and support the Community Market.

Is anything going on that you would like me to put in the paper? Please email me! I would love to hear from you.

Someday, everything will make perfect sense. So for now, laugh at the confusion, smile through the
tears, and keep reminding yourself that everything happens for a reason. — John Mayer
