Having grown up on a small dairy farm, I have a fondness for cows. I’ve become “friends” with the two cows boarding in the pasture next door. Their fence is located a few feet from one of my apple trees; they love those sweet treats! There seems to be an abundance of apples this year. My Macouns are large and super sweet and juicy. The Northern Spy still need a couple more weeks to ripen. Anne Goodblood brought some of her apples into the Town Office … super large Cortlands and Wolf Rivers.

How time flies! Congratulations to our administrative assistant, Kari Hunt, who is celebrating her fifth anniversary working for the town of Unity. We are lucky to have her!

The “Glow Ride” hosted by the Thorndike Trailblazers ATV club was a big hit once again with close to 100 ATVs participating. It must be quite a sight with that many machines riding in the dark with glow-in-the-dark decorations. People decorated themselves as well. The Glow Ride proceeds benefited The Open Door and Benjamin Berry Post #50.
