BELFAST — Coyote Moon is for sale.  At the end of a “record-breaking sales season and a successful 32 years,” Michelle Walker has announced that her “boutique that speaks to the heart” is looking for a new owner.

Coyote Moon has been a fixture in downtown Belfast since 1989.  Open seven days a week, year-round, the store draws customers from across the state, the country and the world. Noted for its clothing, jewelry, gifts and a “nourishing” book selection, the store is also “renowned for the supportive shopping experience and soulful environment offered by its compassionate, creative staff,” Walker said in her announcement.

“Coyote Moon has been my heart’s offering to our community,” the owner and founder said. “It has been my project of love and vision. The business is thriving but the time has come for me to pass the torch and dive deeper into my other interests.

“I have been blessed with an amazing staff who have supported our community in many ways. Everyone who works at the store has generously offered her unique gifts and talents. Coyote Moon is a composite of our collective creative energy. I’m looking for a new owner so that all we have offered for so long will continue to shine brightly into the future.”

Walker has long been a student of meditation, heart coherence, and natural healing modalities, and wishes to devote more of her energy to those interests. She said she is looking forward to sharing more of what she has learned from many years of dedicated study and personal practice.

She has listed Coyote Moon with business broker Brian Hanson at 775-1957 (office) or 450-6475 (cell).
