WISCASSET — In an action-packed race day of makeup, and regularly-scheduled features, Wiscasset Speedway wrapped the season for Group 2 divisions on Saturday, Oct. 2.

Drivers took to the track first to make up racing from a rained out feature on Sept. 18.

In the makeup 88.5FM Modifieds, Mike Brown of Hope took home his first feature win since 2002. The win also marked his first career win in the Modified Division.

Josh St. Clair of Liberty clinched the title in the Wood Pellet Warehouse Late Model Sportsman. The win made St. Clair the third generation of St. Clair champions at the Speedway. His father, Puncin St. Clair, and grandfather, Dave St. Clair, also hold championship wins.

The St. Clair family joins the Ripley family, who also has three generations of championship wins with drivers Ryan Ripley, Daren Ripley and Doug Ripley.
