BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office, Waldo County Triad, Belfast Lions Club and the Federal Drug Enforcement Agency are sponsoring the Fall Drug Take-Back Event on Saturday, Oct. 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The drive-thru event will take place at the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office, 6 Public Safety Way. Participants will drive in, deputies will accept unwanted prescription medications, and volunteers will collect unwanted hearing aids and eyeglasses. It will not be necessary for participants to leave their vehicles.
