Congratulations to Bryan and Grace Tweedie on their recent wedding.  I wish many, many happy years together for you two.

Congratulations to Lincoln and Elisabeth Greeley on their recent marriage. I wish you many years of happiness.

I have a friend who is looking for someone to help her unpack and get organized in an assisted living facility in the Belfast area. If you are interested in giving this gal a hand, contact me and I will give you her contact information.

I received a note from Sue Brennan, Adult & Community Education director for Regional School Unit 3.  The Community Fitness Center is open again and they also have started a community walk and community volleyball. The walk is inside the complex on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6 to 8 p.m. and volleyball is Tuesday nights from 7 to 9 p.m. If interested, folks just need to call to sign up, then pay a $5 registration fee. The fitness center is a longer-term plan. They have other classes scheduled, but are always looking for more. The best way to find out the current and new offerings is go to their website or Facebook page or you can call 568-3426, ext. 1802.

Condolences are being sent to the family and friends of Gladys Holmes. She was a great lady and will be missed.

Sympathy is extended to the family and friends of Lloyd Manning. The Mannings and the Tweedies were friends for many years and would come to visit.

Sympathy is being sent to the family and friends of Jay Guber. He lived in the Freedom area several years ago and was a friend to all.

We have been having great weather and I have worked outside daily. I will be glad when the weather changes because I need to clean house!  Oh, well, I will have all winter to get my cleaning done.

I had a call from Donnie Bagley recently. We hadn’t chatted for a while, so we had fun getting caught up with each other’s world.

Dolly Parton is quoted as saying, “It’s hard to be a diamond in a rhinestone world.”

Have a great week and get those last-minute winterizing chores done.
