Good morning!

Hope you all have been enjoying this past week with all the warm weather, I know we have. Would love to hear from you about what is going on in your life — this is your column and I would love to write something for you.

Happy birthday to Brooklyn Thorpe on Oct. 23. Nana and Auntie are wishing you a very happy birthday. We love you.

Happy birthday to a very special friend, Sissy Hatch, on Oct. 23.

We lost another great person. On Oct. 14, Rita Waterman Thompson Littlefield passed away at home with her family by her side. Jere kept me updated until she passed. Rita is the sister of Nancy Thompson Hanson. Our thoughts and prayers are with Rita’s family. This is a very hard time for them.

My Mom and I have known and grown up with Rita and family and always had a really great time. I used to call Rita’s mom (Frances Thompson) Auntie Frances. I have so many awesome memories with Rita’s family and I used to baby sit Rita’s sons, Jere, Kerry and Brent Waterman.

We have a farm (used to be the Flackes’) called Community Market here in Morrill. They have changed their day and hours; they are now open Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. They have been opening the market every other week. Look for their signs.

You all have a really great week and I’ll see you next week.

Quote of the week

Life goes on whether you choose to move on and take a chance in the unknown or stay behind locked in the past, thinking of  what could’ve been. — Stephanie Smith
