MORRILL —  Becky Macom, age 73, went home to heaven to be with her savior and her husband, parents and brother. She passed away Sept. 25, 2021.

Becky was born Sept. 15, 1948, in Belfast. She graduated from Belfast Area High School and then graduated as a medical assistant in Boston. She returned home to Maine to care for her dad and then went on to graduate from nursing school at the University of Maine.

She worked many years at Waldo County General Hospital. She was married to Earl M. Macom, the love of her life, and had two sons, Earl R. Macom and John J. Macom.  She enjoyed quilting and spent many years teaching Sunday School at Morrill Baptist Church, now Veracity Chapel. She loved life and sharing stories of her life with anyone who would listen. She also loved spending time with her family and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, Earl M. Macom, brother Robert Gould and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert O. Gould. She is survived by her two sons, Earl and John; and her sisters and brother Beverly Jackson, Mary Palmer and Richard Gould. She will be missed by many people.

A funeral service will be held at Veracity Chapel in March 2022.  It will be followed by a celebration of her life downstairs at the church.
