The Freedom Congregational Church will hold a community supper on Saturday, Nov. 6,, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Speaking of events in November, the Mount View High School Class of 2011 reunion is currently scheduled to be held on Nov. 27, starting at 5 p.m., at Liberty’s Lake St. George Brewing Co. I’m looking forward to going and reintroducing myself — and being reintroduced — to many people with whom I have lost contact over the past 10 years. We are all different people than we were 10 years ago; I’m glad that we could finally schedule something and not let this milestone pass uncelebrated because of the pandemic.

Catherine and I finally made it over to Freedom’s Edge Tasting Room. We went last Saturday with two of our new neighbors on Beaver Ridge Road. I am amazed at how Andy and Ned, the two owners, have started their hard cider business from the ground up, and turned it into something really cool. Despite the misty, cold weather, dozens of people were out at the various picnic tables, around the firepit, and enjoying the four new flavors of hard cider.

That’s all for this week — stay warm!
