AUGUSTA — The high school 11-player football regular season has wrapped as three area teams prepare for what they hope are successful playoff runs in the Maine Principals’ Association tournament

The final Crabtree Point Standings and playoff pairings for area teams include:

In Class C North, Medomak Valley of Waldoboro (6-2, 107.6530 points) finished first, Belfast (2-3, 82.4242 points) third and Oceanside of Rockland (2-3, 79.3939 points) fourth.

The No. 1 Panthers will host No. 8 Nokomis of Newport (1-6) in the quarterfinals on Saturday, Oct. 30 at 2 p.m. During the regular season, the Panthers defeated the Warriors 14-6 on Oct. 9 at Newport.

The No. 3 Lions will host No. 6 Maine Central Institute of Pittsfield (1-4) in the quarterfinal on Saturday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. During the regular season, the Lions defeated the Huskies 42-7 on Oct. 1 at Belfast.

The quarterfinal game between No. 4 Oceanside and No. 5 Hermon (2-3) was canceled. The Mariners and Hawks did not play one another in the regular season.
