Hello All,

The brisk fall air and the windy days seem to have to moved in. The leaves have been steadily blowing off the trees. Cold and breezy now. Nice seeing all the deer and turkeys though. Hunting deer season is starting now so be safe out there. Good luck to all the deer hunters. Wear orange when out walking.

Congrats to Will Turner for getting a cow moose weighing 680 lbs. That will be good eating.

Our neighbor Joyce Bailey Thompson passed away on Friday. She will be missed by all of us here. I saw a post that Ed Murphy has passed away. I knew him from long ago.

Speaking of cold

Got a noticeable frost here. Still apple picking going on. Cross Patch Farm had some fresh corn I got recently. They had potatoes, peppers, broccoli, squash, onions and more. So love to get the fresh veggies.

As Robin Williams said, “Everyone is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always.”

Until next week,

I did find out they have been working on the Old County Road. Hopefully get it done, getting cold now. I hope everyone is still enjoying these days we are having. Soccer play-offs are going on now. Trying to get ready for winter is a job. Be safe and be warm. Call me with some news. Thanks!
