Hello All,

I am trying to keep up with the deer hunters, but some have filled multiple tags out. Grandson Kyle Doughty shot a 8-pt. buck weighing 176 lbs. He wants to get the head mounted. Jacie Nickerson got a 140-lb. spike horn. Congrats to them both. Logan Grant got two deer, seconds apart. She got a button buck and a doe. She was featured on Bangor Daily Outdoors. Way to go!!

Birthday celebration

Roy Ward, WWII veteran, celebrated his 102nd birthday on Veterans Day at Angler’s with family and friends. I read he has received over 1000 cards while he is staying at the Bangor Veterans Home. How nice for him.

Veggies

Heald Farm still has squash, pumpkins, onions, potatoes and cranberries among their shelves at the farm stand. Also Cross Farm has veggies available at their farm. Check these places out for nice fresh veggies. Maybe find some apples, too.

Until next week,

That’s it folks!! Have a good one, be warm and be safe. Watch out for those children getting on and off the buses. Some people don’t stop for the flashing red lights, sadly. Be careful with the scamming phone calls, they are always coming, I get many every day, and fake emails as well. Don’t lose your money to scams.
