SWANVILLE — A Frankfort woman escaped serious injury after her car went off the road and flipped over Nov. 22.

According to state police, Angela Stimpson, 51, was traveling south on Route 131 near the 90-degree curve at the intersection of Monroe Road at around 3 p.m. on Monday.

Police said Stimpson was traveling above the posted speed limit and failed to negotiate the curve, leaving the roadway and rolling her Subaru sedan.

While Stimpson sustained no injuries, police say she has pending charges for operating after suspension.
