BELFAST — Students from the Belfast Area High School Peer Leadership Program recently joined forces with the Belfast Lions Club to help deliver Christmas food baskets to those in need around the city and surrounding area.

Belfast Lions Club has been helping with Thanksgiving and Christmas basket delivery for over 20 years years. The annual event, now coordinated through Waldo County Action Partners, arranged this season for 168 food baskets to be put together at Wentworth Grocery in Northport and then distributed Saturday, Dec. 18, by the Lions and BAHS Peer Leaders.
