BELFAST — Before the first significant snow of the winter fell on Friday, Jan. 7, Belfast wrestlers kept busy by hosting — and sweeping — a home meet with Lincoln Academy of Newcastle and Winslow.
On Thursday, Jan. 6, the Lions bested the Eagles and Winslow. The team scores were Belfast 48 and Lincoln Academy 15; and Belfast 48 and Winslow 24.

126 pounds — Connor Fournier pinned Zach Poland, LA. Anna Pontillo, Bel, won by forfeit over Winslow.
132 pounds — Kaden Bonin won by forfeit over Lincoln Academy and Winslow.
138 pounds — Davis Anderson pinned Waylon Strout, LA; and was pinned by Samuel Schmitt, Win.
145 pounds — Belfast forfeited to Jayden Lafrenaye, LA.
