Hello All,

As I type this up it is snowing outside. It’s only 24 degrees and cold. On top of the ice in my yard ought to be fun. Thank goodness for ice creepers for over the boots. My best friend when putting the trash out this morning. Be safe everyone. Also winter is the best time to be rid of those brown-tail moths nests if possible.

Off on a vacation

Some of my Doughty family is at Barcelo Resort in Riviera Maya Mexico.

Rabies clinic

Nearby at Troy Town Office Jan. 12, 5-7 p.m. $10 fee. Cats in containers and dogs on leash. After Jan. 31, also a late fee if dogs not licensed at your town office.

Out of town

The Joy family neighbors have been in Texas and Arizona. I enjoyed the pictures of their trip, especially at the Grand Canyon where they took a helicopter tour.

Sympathy

It seems like so many deaths lately of folks we know of. Thinking of the families and friends of Phil Kenney, Neil Mackay, Kendall Thomas, and Ruth A. Blood and others. May their memories of each be a blessing.

Well wishes

Get well to Bev Winship at this time. And to you if you are not feeling well. Folks have been sick with COVID also.

Congrats

Andrew Stevenson, son of Randy and Sandra Stevenson of town, was recently promoted to lieutenant in the medical paramedic section for Biddeford Fire Department. Congrats to him as he also is involved with other fire departments as well.

Newborn baby

Congrats to Tim Parker Jr. and Chels Hester on the birth of their baby girl, Leighton, on Jan. 5. Happy for the three of them.

Until next week,

Have a safe week and stay warm.
