Here we are going into the deep freeze again. I would rather the temperature did not go below zero.

Deepest condolences are being sent to the family and friends of Wade Luce.

Condolences are being sent to the family and friends of Steve Shaw. He was well known and respected by Mount View students and teachers. He will also be missed in the gym.

Sincere condolences are being sent to the family and friends of Bruce Norsworthy.  He was a great guy and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Please make sure your dog licenses are paid before the last day of January or they will be much more expensive. When we had a dog, I tried to make sure that the license was taken care of before Christmas.

I had a delightful visit with Pearl Nickless and boys recently. We had not had a good visit in years and she does not look a day older than the last time I saw her, many years ago. It is good to reconnect and hash over old times. We must do it again.

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, and I have not got my Christmas tree taken down yet. Dustin still likes it turned on every evening. It is getting quite bare of ornaments, but he says take the lights off last.  I have to get with it or start hanging hearts and cupids on it.

Papa Dixon was a recent visitor of Dustin. They had lots of fun telling stories and making each other laugh.

If you have anything you would like to put in this column, please call me with the information and I will do my best to get in the column.

Oscar Wilde is quoted as saying, “There is no such thing as a moral or immoral book. Books are well written or badly written. That is all.”

Have a great week and stay warm.
