PROSPECT — The Town Office closed Jan. 27 due to a COVID-19 exposure, according to the town’s website. It is believed that only two people at the Town Office were exposed, Select Board member Joe Rego told The Republican Journal Jan. 31.

He expects the office to reopen Tuesday, Fab. 1. The office was sanitized after the exposure and continues to be sanitized daily as part of the office’s protocol, he said. Masks are required inside the building and there are clear barriers over the service desk. People who need to do business at the Town Office should wait until it reopens, Rego said.
