Our deepest sympathy goes out to the family of Christine Hatch. Her children are Scott, Craig, Perry and Brent. I have so many awesome memories of Christine. I grew up knowing Christine, Roy and family.  I loved her smile and she was so kind. Christine did an excellent job bringing up her sons after the passing of Roy. They were really nice neighbors and we all looked out for one another. I miss going by her house and seeing her there. Rest in peace, Christine, until we meet again.

Happy anniversary to Nate and Kim Loper Dennison on Feb. 18, and to Ralene and Cliff Fuller on Feb. 21. You all have a very special day.

I would like to say I wish people could respect each other in their decision when a person either wears a mask or doesn’t. We are all going through this together and you need to understand if a person isn’t wearing a mask there is a really good reason, and if they wear a mask, it’s their decision. Let’s all be kind to each other.

Everyone have a wonderful week and weekend. Enjoy your friends and family; life is too short.

I saw the Community sign out for the weekend of Feb. 12 at the Morrill Community Center, glad to see they are keeping it going.

Quote of the week

Always be kind. If you see someone falling behind, walk beside them. If someone is being ignored, find a way to include them. If someone has been knocked down, lift them up. Always remind people of their worth. Be who you needed when you were going through hard times. Just one small act of kindness could mean the world to someone. — A simple peaceful life
