WALDO — Lena Mae Littlefield, 75, passed away Jan. 30, 2022, with her loving daughter, Lesa Furbush, and grandson Scotty Clark by her side. Lena was born and raised in Swanville, the daughter of the late Bennie Stevens and Edna Seekins Stevens Blair.

She loved her family more than anything and had a special bond with her great-grandson Seth “Pork Chop” Hazlett. Lena enjoyed the time she lived in Florida, soaking up the sun and working on her tan. Other pastimes included reading, crocheting and watching drama TV. Even though they didn’t live close to one another, each week Lena and her brother Jr. would both watch wrestling and then discuss the outcomes, keeping them connected.

Lena was predeceased by her parents, her daughter Anna Maria Towers, three of her siblings and her granddaughter Alissa. Surviving are her loving children, Lesa Furbush, Bengie Littlefield, Basil Littlefield Jr. and Herschel Littlefield; 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; brothers Herbert Stevens Jr., Richard Pomeroy and Carl Stevens; her best friend, Caroline Heroux, and her loyal dog, Missy.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Feb. 27 at the American Legion, 143 Church St., Belfast. Memories and condolences may be shared at ripostafh.com.
