BELFAST — The Unitarian Universalist Church of Belfast is launching a series of “Community Climate Movement Events” to be held in person at the church, 37 Miller St. Speakers will deliver presentations on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month, 7-9 p.m., starting in March.

The speaker on both the 9th and the 22nd of March is Ethan Hughes of the Possibility Alliance, a petroleum-free learning center and activism hub. Hughes will share his perspective on “economies that heal our ecosystems, reduce loneliness, and build community,” with a call to “together embody the world we want to inhabit.”

Further monthly events include meditation vigils on the climate crisis (7 p.m., first Wednesday) and interfaith climate services (7 p.m., third Wednesday).
