UNITY — The Ecology Learning Center at 230 Main St. will hold its second Fermentation Workshop Series, Sourdough, on Wednesday, March 16, from 4 to 5 p.m.

Local baker Michael Scholz of Albion Bread will share his knowledge about the living yeast that will bubble up bread. Scholz will give participants some starter and Maine Grains flour to take home.

RSVP here. Participants are asked to bring a suggested donation of $20 to support this and future community programs. Upcoming Fermentation Workshops will include Kombucha & Beyond with Anna Carter in April, Miso-Making with Mike and Nicholas Repenning in May, and Pickles & Sauerkraut in June.
