BELFAST — The First Church in Belfast, UCC, has rescheduled its Vigil for Peace in Ukraine to Sunday, March 13, at 1 p.m. It was originally scheduled for Saturday.

All are invited to gather around the fire pit in the church front yard at 104 Church St. to join in prayer, hear and share readings, poems and stories, and be in silence together in solidarity with the people of Ukraine.

According to the announcement from First Church, the vigil will be held “for the causes of democracy, freedom and liberty for all people, and against tyranny, violence and war and the destruction, death and heartbreak it brings.”
