BELFAST — The Colonial Theatre, 163 High St., presents an evening of songs and the stories behind them. Father and son songwriters Russ Lloyd and Travis Lloyd perform Saturday, March 26, at 7 p.m., with the band The Hot Suppers joining the line up later in the evening.

Having serenaded Maine for some time now, the much revered Russ Lloyd is also a founding member of the beloved Leaky Boot Jug Band. Gifted genetics continue with son Travis Lloyd who has played with The Rugged and The Travis Lloyd Band.

The Hot Suppers feature many “courses” — musicians Annadeene Fowler, Tom Fowler, John Pranio, Sean Ociepka and Jeff Densmore will regale the audience with harmony-driven contemporary folk rock.

Admission is $17 for all seats, with tickets available at the door or in advance via Eventbrite at tinyurl.com/LloydSuppers.
