This program will be divided into two parts. First, Peter Garrett, Ph.D., will encourage attendees to participate in the En-ROADS interactive Climate Solutions Simulator to explore the impact of a range of climate-related policies, such as electrifying transport, pricing carbon, and improving agricultural practices.

Developed by Climate Interactive, the MIT En-ROADS uses the best available science, calibrated against a wide range of existing climate models. It is intuitive and user-friendly.

In the second part, Belfast Citizen Climate Lobby member Katrina Matheson will share an overview of CCL’s keystone policy initiative, the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act (HR
