April is child abuse prevention month.  If you see something, say something.  The abuse needs to stop and let it end because you said something.  Right in our little town, there is abuse going on with children and adults.  If you need help, speak out to someone.

There will be a pre-season sale at the Farwell Museum Store and Garden Variety Friday and Saturday, April 8 and 9, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. All of the proceeds will go directly to the restoration of the Farwell buildings.  They will be open for the season starting May 13, but wanted to have the sale for year-rounders before the summer vacation season arrives.

Condolences to the family and friends of Margaret Wildes. I used to see her at Mount View Elementary when my kids were in school. She was a super nice lady.  She will be missed by many.

Happy birthday to: Amber Hamblett, Jacquie Ludden, Diana Prizio, Gary Pratt, Kris Wrona and Taylor Reynolds.  I hope you all enjoy your special day with friends and family.

The weather is slowly warming and things are thawing out in the yard. Now, it is time to get down to work with those yard rakes, and get those yard tractors to work.  Have a great week and hopefully get to enjoy some sunshine.

Kathryn Davis is quoted as saying, “Everybody thinks it’s going to be different for them. The dinosaurs thought so, too.”
