SEARSMONT — Waldo County’s high flyin’ Pinwheel Brothers play the first concert of the year at Searsmont Town Library’s Live OUTSIDE the Library concert series on Saturday, May 7, at 2 p.m. in the Community Hall, 37 Main St. South.

The group shows up all over the Midcoast region playing energetic Americana styles, such as bluegrass and folk-rock. The quartet will be appearing as a trio on this occasion with Ben Hatfield (guitar and vocals), Will Field (guitars and vocal), and Vic Tredwell (bass and ox grunts).

This is the second season of Live OUTSIDE the Library, an offshoot of the pre-pandemic series Live at the Library, which had more of a house concert feel and was situated in the front area of the library.

This free concert is made possible, in part, by the Friends of Searsmont Library. Physical distancing and mask wearing at this event are encouraged.
