BELFAST — Printmakers at Local Color Gallery, 135 High St., participate in “Print Day in May” Saturday, May 7, from noon to 4 p.m. On this annual, global celebration of printmaking, tens of thousands of printmakers around the world make prints and share their experiences with others.
Sally Brophy, Sandi Cirillo, Mary Faith Morison and Leslie Moore will demonstrate their printmaking techniques in the gallery. There will be demonstrations of white-line woodcuts, solar plate etching, copper plate etching, and linoleum block printmaking. Please come to see how printmaking is done.
Local Color Gallery is open seven days a week; for details, visit localcolorgallerymaine.com.
