BAR HARBOR — A small contingent of Searsport District High School track-and-field athletes made their way Downeast on Friday, May 13 to compete in a regular-season meet hosted by the Trojans of Mount Desert Island.

The girls team scores were: Mount Desert Island 153, Old Town 142, Central of East Corinth 36, Narraguagus of Harrington 18 and Searsport no score.

The boys team scores were: Mount Desert Island 152, Old Town 106, Central 53, Narraguagus 32 and Searsport 15.

The Viking girls individual results were:

100 meters — 9, Emma Gaecklein, 15.24.

200 meters — 11, Emma Gaecklein, 31.30.

Discus — 18, Brianna Fairbrother, 56-7; and 22, Jayde Stone, 28-1.

Javelin — 15, Brianna Fairbrother, 46-6; 17, Jayde Stone, 43-7; and 19, Teakin Nickerson, 34-9.

The Viking boys individual results were:

Pole vault — 1, Ellis Braga, 11-0; and 2, Thomas Bradley, 9-6.

Long jump — 15, Ian Cottrell, 12-1.

Shot put — 8, Laithe Allen, 28-7.5; and 10, Colby Treat, 25-0.5.

Discus — 7, Colby Treat, 70-4; and 9, Laithe Allen, 66-8.

Javelin — 5, Laithe Allen, 93-1; and 13, Ian Cottrell, 66-7.
