BELFAST — Waldo County Triad will hold its annual Senior Appreciation Day at Tarratine Hall, 153 Main St., at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 2. Doors will open at 9 a.m.

The free event features includes morning coffee and tea, displays by service providers, blood pressure checks, bingo games with prizes,  and a hot dog/hamburger barbecue lunch served by the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office. There will be time for socializing and a door prize drawing (the winner must be present).

All activities are free to those 50 and older. The entire cost will be covered by Triad in partnership with a number of area businesses and organizations. For questions, call Triad at 866-426-7555.

Triad is a nonprofit organization composed of senior citizen volunteers, agencies that serve seniors and local law enforcement agencies. Almost all Triad programs are free. Triad’s goal is to help seniors feel safe and secure in their homes and to help them stay in their homes longer.
