Lincolnville elects Hand in Select Board race

LINCOLNVILLE — Residents elected Stephen Hand over Jordan Barnett-Parker by a vote of 283 to 178 in the election Tuesday, June 14.

Stephen Hand, whose ties to the area go back to 1989, is director of IT and security for Tilson, a communications infrastructure company in Portland.

Incumbent Jordan Barnett-Parker had been on the board since December 2020, when he was elected to fill out the remainder of David Barrows’ term after Barrows died in a tractor accident in September of that year. A master goldsmith, he owns a jewelry business, Jordan Adam Designs, where he makes jewelry and does repairs and custom metalwork.
