Mark your calendar

Community Market is the second and fourth Saturdays of the month from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Morrill Community Building (Morrill Grange Hall). They have food vendors, baked goods, art soap, natural remedies, local produce and meats.

If the weather clears up and looks nice, they will get out the tents and set up vendors outside in the side yard of the Community Center.

Community Potluck Saturday, June 25, 4:30 to 7 p.m. (every fourth Saturday of the month). Bring a dish to share and have a meal with friends.

July 9 – no market.

July 22 – Market is moving back to Fridays from 4 to 6:30 p.m., outside at the Allgrove homestead, 117 Weymouth Road (just up the road from the Community Center).

July 22 – Scything demonstration (time TBD).

Aug. 12 – Homeschool curriculum Sale and Swap. Anyone is welcome to come and sell, trade, swap, or barter homeschool curriculum during the market.

Aug. 26 – PFAS vs. Biosolides: the rest of the story.

Aug. 27 – Community Potluck.

Our market is cash, precious metals and barter only. We will have free clothing and books (kids and adult) at the June markets, upstairs at the community center, and we have a free raffle at every market: leave your cellphones at home for an extra entry!

Just a reminder that if you would like to get sodas for the Volunteer fire fighters, they would appreciate it so much. Contact Jethro.

Please don’t mow your grass into the road. There has already been one motorcyclist go off the road because of it.
