The students speakers, including salutatorian Kyla Perkins and valedictorian Max Provencher, spoke words of encouragements to their peers at the ceremony. They also spoke about the class’s competitive spirit and fondest memories.

Max talked about what his class was like as a whole and how the community enabled the students’ success. He hoped that the class would give back to the community in the future.

He said that time is the most valuable thing a person can spend and he urged his classmates not to waste it. As a future financial adviser, he gave his peers one last piece of advice encouraging them to open a Roth IRA.

“I didn’t even realize that until this year, just how abundantly scarce time is,” he said.
