SEARSPORT — On Thursday, June 30, from 5 to 7 p.m., Penobscot Marine Museum presents “Ripped from the Headlines: Tales of Bravery, Shipwrecks & Courage at Sea.” Searsport’s rich maritime history will come to life in a family-friendly evening filled with dramatic reenactments and readings from newspaper stories of bravery, courage, daring rescues, and other adventures on the high seas. Tickets are $8 per person if pre-purchased or $10 at the door.

This is an outdoor evening event with volunteer actors stationed in locations throughout the museum’s three-acre campus. Timed tickets start every 10 minutes. Attendees will walk around the campus to hear the stories presented by the actors.
