WINTERPORT — On June 16, 2022, the world said farewell to Camellia “Millie” Joyce Brassbridge.
She gave her love and good humor to four generations of family and friends over the years. She left peacefully while surrounded by her loving husband, Carlton; her daughters, Shelly, Lori and Barbara, and son-in-law Wayne. She is also survived by her loving stepdaughters, Brandi and Brianne; her sisters, Barbara, Jeannie and Jo-Ann; her brother Scott; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Millie taught us all how to find humor in the world and to protect each other in the face of hardship.
Her legacy will live on in every good thing ever done by those who loved her. She helped us know what goodness was.We love you, Millie. You did an amazing job and will be sorely missed.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 2, starting at noon on land behind Mandy’s Market in Frankfort.
Millie’s family will hold a private celebration and spread her ashes at the base of her maple tree, where she will continue to watch over us as we grow.
