This is a 2-mile (approx.) out and back hike with moderate, rolling terrain, than can be made longer, if desired.

Directions:  Meet at the trailhead on Route 1. For the Route 1 entrance, coming from Belfast, take Route 1 south. The preserve is 100 yards south of the Belfast/Northport town line.

The Happy Wanderers meet on the first Thursday of each month at the trailhead of a Coastal Mountains Land Trust preserve. The hikes range in location from Rockport to Searsport.
